Hogg – Siewert Plans Are Paying Off

New head coach Jan Siewert’s ideas are starting to pay off, according to Huddersfield midfielder Jonathan Hogg. The club’s vice-captain believes Town offered more in attack against Arsenal than in many of their matches since November, and that the second-half showing against the Gunners has put the players in a positive frame of mind as they prepare to next face relegation rivals Newcastle United.

“The new style of play seems like it’s starting to come together,” said Hogg, who overcame a niggling back injury to return to the starting line-up against Arsenal. “The head coach has come in with new ideas and tried to change things here and there. We are using a similar style of play but with some different ideas. “We need to keep working hard and stay positive.”
