Solskjaer Offers Advice To Pogba

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly offered Paul Pogba advice on his controversial penalty taking technique.

The United midfielder ditched his previous method of taking up to 26 short steps to score in the 2-1 weekend home victory over Brighton & Hove Albion.

The France World Cup winner dispatched the latest spot kick with minimum fuss – with United insiders admitting Solskjaer has had a quiet word since replacing sacked Jose Mourinho as interim boss last month.

It’s understood Pogba will remain United’s designated penalty taker under the Norwegian, who has clearly had a big impact already on the 25-year-old.

The former Juventus man regularly practises taking penalties and free-kicks after training has finished up and has been more than receptive to Solskjaer’s ideas and opinions.

Pogba appeared to be heading for the Old Trafford exit under Mourinho but has been revitalised under the former United striker legend, scoring five times in his last five Premier League outings.
