England boss Gareth Southgate has backed Tottenham striker Harry Kane to end his goal drought sooner rather than later. The Three Lions captain failed to add to his tally in Friday’s goalless Nations League clash with Croatia although he did have a goal ruled out for offside.

He has now gone six games without scoring for England after claiming the Golden Boot at the 2018 World Cup.
His form domestically has been pretty solid, netting five times in the Premier League, and Southgate is confident the goals will start to come again on the international stage.
Southgate said: “He had the chance he buried from just offside. Harry will get us goals.”
Kane will have his next opportunity on Monday when England travel to face Spain in Seville.
