Strasbourg are readying themselves for offers for striker Nuno da Costa with Norwich keen on a bid, according to reports. The Cape Verde international scored eight times in Ligue 1 last season and could be on his way to the Premier League with Daniel Farke’s side.

The Canaries are having to deal with budget restrictions despite the riches of heading into the top flight, and are preparing a £5m swoop. The 28-year-old moved to Strasbourg from Valenciennes for just £500,000 back in 2017 but now could be set for a move to England with Brighton also reportedly showing an interest.
Norwich though are the frontrunners for his signature as they look to bolster their attack ahead of their Premier League return. If signed, Da Costa would battle with last season’s top-scorer Teemu Pukki for a place in the starting line up, with Jordan Rhodes going back to Sheffield Wednesday following the conclusion of his loan deal.
