Calvert-Lewin Looking To Get Regular Run Outs

Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin will rejoin training this week after being given extra time off as he targets a regular start next season. The youngster is hoping for a big season under Marco Silva as he looks to establish himself as a regular frontman in the first team and with that in mind he has kept up his work rate over the summer.

After being part of the England Under-21 set-up over the summer boss Silva gave him extra time off for a break but the 22-year-old has posted a video of himself and the work he has been putting in before his return to official training on Monday.

When asked about the number nine shirt for the upcoming season, he told the Times: “I’d like it more at Everton next season. “Sometimes you have to sacrifice yourself in order to bring them into the game and get your team up the pitch. “Everyone knows I want to score more goals, and I’m sure they’ll come.”
