Tete Linked With Wolves Switch

Kenny Tete looks set to leave Lyon with Wolves the latest club to be linked with his signature. The Dutchman joined Les Gones in the summer of 2017 and enjoyed plenty of exposure, with Bruno Genesio rotating between himself and Rafael.
However, the summer arrival of Leo Dubois added an extra option and Tete has been the one to pay.
The 23-year-old enjoyed a run in the side towards the winter break with Rafael out but has been continually linked with a move away.
Turkish giants Galatasaray have already expressed an interest, as have La Liga side Real Betis but Wolves are now being linked.
The Premier League outfit are short in the right-wing-back position, with Matt Doherty a regular, but Jonny Castro, who usually plays on the left, having to switch sides when the Irishman requires a rest.
Tete’s contract runs until 2021 and it is thought he would cost around eight millions euros, although Lyon could drive a hard bargain with Rafael’s deal set to expire in the summer.
There could also be a complication due to him being part of Mino Raiola’s stable, meaning Wolves’ consultant Jorge Mendes might object to any deal.
