Tottenham have been linked with a £10.75million swoop for Fenerbahce starlet Eljif Elmas. Spurs are being busy in this summer transfer window with deals for Leeds United winger Jack Clarke and Tanguy Ndombele of Lyon thought to be imminent.
However, the spending is not set to stop with that double swoop as reports claim a move to bring in the highly-rated 19-year-old, Elmas, who shone in the Turkish Super Lig last season with four goals in 29 league appearances from central midfield.
It was reported last week that Spurs would pay £17m and offer striker Vincent Janssen to get a deal over the line, but the latest speculation coming out of Turkey is claiming a bid of just under £11m – 15m euros – has been put on the table for Elmas.
