Manchester United are still reportedly confident of sealing a breakthrough for Crystal Palace’s Aaron Wan Bissaka and remain in talks. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have already made a bid for the 21-year-old starlet, who has shone for Roy Hodgson’s men so far this season.
However, their first approach was rejected, with Palace seeking a fee of around £50million for him. He is the top target of the club, despite his poor performance in the Under-21 European Championships for England.
Wan-Bissaka scored a last second damaging own goal against France as the Three Lions went down 2-1 but that has not deterred United, who are determined to secure their man. Reports suggest that the Red Devils’ board are prepared to go back to Palace for more talks however with there still being several weeks until the beginning of the season.
