Taulupe has started four of Bath’s six games in the Premiership this season but the Wales international is set for a spell out on the sidelines after the recent break.
Gatland’s Wales side are preparing to face Scotland, Australia, Tonga and South Africa during November and the Kiwi head coach will have to look for an alternative for Faletau in the pack.
