Mauro Icardi has no intention of leaving Inter Milan according to his wife and agent, Wanda Nara. The Argentine’s form for the Nerazzurri continues to prompt suggestions of a move away, with both Chelsea and Manchester United linked with his signature over the last year.
As captain of Inter, Icardi seems to have repaired his previously fractious relationship with the fans and further endeared himself to the Inter tifosi by netting the late winner in last Sunday’s Derby della Madonnina.
With his current deal running until the summer of 2021, his spouse says there are no plans for the “best number nine in the world” to depart the Giuseppe Meazza.
“He still has a three-year contract, he’s very happy here and he has a very important present at Inter,” she told Canale 5. “He’s the captain and he stays here.
“I reiterate that for me, at the moment, he is the best number nine in the world.”
