Warnock Hails Bluebirds Attitude

Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock has hailed the character of his side as they continue to battle for their Premier League survival.

The Bluebirds are preparing for a crucial clash against already-relegated Fulham on Saturday, with the South Wales outfit three points away from safety with three games to go.

Warnock has admitted it has been a tough season but has given his players great credit for how they have coped in difficult circumstances this term. “It’s been the biggest, most difficult job I’ve had in my 39 years but I’ve enjoyed it,” he told reporters. “It’s had ups and downs, but since Christmas we’ve had more downs with everything that has happened off the field. “The lads have been fantastic.

We shouldn’t – bookie-wise – have got anywhere near going up last year. “We’re limited at times but the attitude of the lads has been brilliant.

And the fans have helped the team go beyond what we have expected.” “It’s an amazing dressing room, there are no cliques in there, they are all together,” Warnock added. “They will give it their best shot. It’s going to be difficult but we’re still in there.”
