Watford are continuing to monitor Brentford winger Ollie Watkins but reports claim they could now face competition from Tottenham.
The Hornets have been tracking the 22-year-old attacker for some time and will know plenty about him because ex-Brentford scout Andy Scott joined Watford’s staff just a few months after the Bees signed Watkins from Exeter City.

The club have been building up a fact file on Watkins for some time and added to it over the weekend when a scout saw the forward in Brentford’s 1-0 home Championship defeat to Bristol City.
However, the Daily Mail claim Spurs are also keeping close tabs on the youngster ahead of the January transfer window.
The forward, who has four goals and three assists in 12 Championship appearances so far this season, would provide pace and creativity for Tottenham’s forward line.
