Wolves Ace Eyes Improved Season

Wolves keeper Rui Patricio says there is more to come from him in the new season and is expecting another successful campaign. Wolves’ first season back in the Premier League was a massive success as they finished seventh and qualified for Europe, with an FA Cup semi-final thrown for good measure.

The £15m signing from Sporting Lisbon followed up the Premier League campaign by winning the first-ever Nations League with Portugal in the summer and he is looking ahead to the new campaign. Having enjoyed a good start to life at Molineux, Patricio is hungry for more and is focused on making sure he steps up his efforts. “It’s going to be a great season,” he told the Express & Star.

“It will be hard, as every Premier League season is, they are always very well fought. I believe it’s going to be one more excellent season from all of us and we want to give much joy to our supporters. “It was a good year (for me), but I know that I can do more and be better. “So, I must keep working and evolving every day. That’s the most important thing.”
