Wolves have reportedly held talks with the representatives of Mbaye Diagne over a January transfer swoop for the Kasimpasa striker. ESPN claim the 27-year-old Senegal ace is on Wolves’ shortlist as Nuno Espirito Santo targets a striker signing for the upcoming winter window.
The report claims Diagne’s representatives will now hold a fresh round of negotiations with Kasimpasa next week.
Kasimpasa will not want to lose their top scorer, who has bagged 12 goals and provided two assists in 12 appearances for the club, midway through a season where they are challenging for a Champions League spot.

They are currently riding high in 3rd place in the Super Lig table, just five points behind reigning champions Galatasaray.
Diagne was linked with a move to England over the summer, with Leeds United, Bournemouth and Hull City all reportedly making enquiries but his move prospects suffered a blow when it emerged that he would be unable to play in the UK because of work permit issues.
However, he has since applied for an EU passport, which he is eligible for after spells at Italian sides Brandizzo, Bra and Juventus between 2010-15.
