Wolverhampton Wanderers are considering making an offer for Valencia defender Mouctar Diakhaby, reports claim.
France U21 international Diakhaby has been in brilliant form for Valencia this season and his performances helped Los Che finish fourth in La Liga, grabbing the final Champions League place.
The 22-year-old centre-back’s stock has risen massively this term and there are said to be a number of top European clubs interested in acquiring his services this summer.
Premier League outfit Wolves, who ended up seventh on their return to England’s top flight, are believed to be one of the frontrunners for his signature and are ready to launch an offer.

It is claimed Valencia will demand a fee around £18million to allow the defender to leave the Mestalla although the Spanish side are reluctant to let one of their prized assets leave.
Diakhaby’s potential switch to Molineux would further strengthen Nuno Espirito Santo’s defensive options, with Conor Coady, Willy Boly and Ryan Bennett all impressing this season.
