Wolves Loanee Happy Despite Slow Start To Life In England

Therefore, the Frenchman urged Vallejo to head out on loan to gain further experience and the youngster has revealed he was nudged towards England.

Nuno Espirito Santo was happy to offer the Spain Under-21 international the opportunity to fight for a place at Molineux as Wolves look to compete on multiple fronts.

The versatile defender is yet to be handed any minutes in the Premier League but has started twice in the Europa League, against Pyunik and Torino.
Nuno doesn’t feel he is ready to play twice a week and it appears his wait for a league outing in set to go on.
Despite being held back, Vallejo insists he is happy in England and doesn’t regret agreeing to the move.

Vallejo added:  “I think it was the right decision. I feel really wanted here. Nuno called me saying he needed me to come and help the team. “I’ve been very happy in my first month. I played in a three-man defence at Real Zaragoza and Eintracht Frankfurt. At Wolverhampton, I tend to play more on the right side but I can genuinely play in any of the three defensive positions. Truth is I feel very at ease in Nuno’s system.”

Wolves do have the option to make Vallejo’s stay permanent at the end of the season but for that to materialise he will need to prove himself in the top flight at some point in the campaign.
