Youngster Benny Ashley-Seal says Nuno Espirito Santo has spoken to him about his chances of breaking into the Wolves first team. The 20-year-old has excelled for the Under-23s in Premier League 2, netting 10 goals in eight appearances to put his side in the running for promotion.

Ashley-Seal’s exploits have not gone unnoticed and, after appearing in the EFL Cup, the striker says Nuno has held conversations about the prospect of stepping up.
Raul Jimenez currently leads the line for the first team although understudy Leo Bonatini has scored just once in 2018.
It means an opportunity could present itself to the Londoner, who was given the number 24 shirt this season and has trained with the first team.
Ashley-Seal says the boss’ message has been simple: keep firing in the goals. “He just says to keep scoring for the Under-23s, doing as much as I can and to take it game by game,” Ashley-Seal told BirminghamLive.
“It’s been good. Training with them will make you better. The sessions are harder and more intense, and all of them are always talking to me and helping me.”
