Ben Iroha has advocated for the best of Nigeria football irrespective of who is at the helm of affairs.
Reacting to the impeachment of Alhaji Aminu Maigari by the executive committee of NFF on Thursday, Iroha said the only thing permanent in life is change, stressing that what is paramount is the development of the game.
“Alhaji Aminu Maigari recorded some lofty achievements during his regime, but since his executive committee members decided to remove him, so be it.
“I sympathise with him but we must ensure the game is taken tothe next level. His replacement should continue from where he stopped and get things better”, the former Super Eagles left-back said from his base in USA yesterday.
He continued: “Since the latest development will not attract FIFA’s anger, well, life goes on and we must look at the positives which is ensuring that we did well to qualify for the AFCON and retain the cup as well as better our World Cup second round appearance next time out”.
