Nigeria’s Esther Oribamise has regretted her errors in the women's U-21 singles opening round defeat to Italy's Giorgia Piccolin at the ITTF Nigerian Open in Lagos Completesportsnigeria.comreports.
Oribamise slumped to a 11-8, 13-11, 11-5 despite staging a strong comeback in the second set.
She admitted her lapses in form came from a lack of consistent match play during the final set game.
"It’s not what I was hoping to do, especially playing in front of the Lagos fans. It’s not good enough," She told Completesportsnigeria.com.
"After I tied the game I didn't maintain the tempo and I paid for it not seizing the opportunity.
"It wasn’t all bad, not at all. There were definitely some good moments, but I definitely was not as sharp as I was hoping.
"I definitely made some mistakes and judgment errors."Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
