Super Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi will be eager to record his 40th EPL win with Arsenal on Saturday when they host Huddersfield Town at the Emirates stadium in a matchday week 16 tie, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
Iwobi has won 39 of the 77 EPL games he featured in for Arsenal since he made his debut in the competition as a late substitute in the 3-0 defeat of Swansea at the Liberty Stadium on October 31, 2015.
The 22-year-old has featured 12 times in the league for Arsenal this term, starting the last four – nine in all, and scoring only once. He scored against Chelsea – the game Arsenal lost 3-2 at the Stamford Bridge last August.
Iwobi will be eager to make his 10th start of the season and his 40th EPL win against the Terriers who are without a win from their previous two games and are languishing in the 17h position with ten points from 15 matches.
At the King Power Stadium, Super Eagles duo of the striker, Kelechi Iheanacho and midfielder Wilfred Ndidi are expected to play their parts as Leicester City seek to win their seventh English Premier League game of the season at home to Tottenham Hotspur.
Iheanacho will be looking to make his ninth start of the season in 15 games. He has scored only one EPL goal this season and it came some 76 days ago in the 3-1 defeat of Huddersfield at the King Power Stadium.
It’s been a stop-start season for the 22-year-old having started just four games up top, and four in the more withdrawn role. Fulham was his first league start in any role since October.
Ndidi on his part will be eager to make his 15th start in 16 Premier League games this term. The midfielder has been a regular player for the Foxes.
