IWobi, Musa Play Sub Roles As Arsenal, Leicester  Lose To Everton, Bournemouth

Super Eagles forward, Alex Iwobi was a 70th minute substitute for Arsenal who suffered a 2-1 defeat to Everton in Tuesday's EPL fixture at Goodison Park, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.

The defeat ended Arsenal's 14 game unbeaten run in the English Premier League and it was their second loss of the campaign.

The game was also Iwobi's 12th appearance of the campaign albeit scoring once this term in the English Premier League and Arsenal's fifth draw of the campaign.

Arsenal remain second in the log with 34 points from 16 games with Chelsea having a game in hand.

Alexis Sanchez broke the deadlock in the 20th minute when his free-kick was deflected in by Ashley Williams beyond the reach of Maarten Stekelenburg in goal for Everton. Seamus Coleman equalized for Everton in the 44th minute.

Ashley Williams who deflected into his own net for Arsenal's opening goal in the 20th minute, headed in the winner five minutes from time to end Everton's poor run. 

Mesut Ozil missed the first real chance in the sixth minute of the encounter.

The goal was the Chilean's 12th strike of the EPL season.

In the second half, Ozil missed another chance to restore the Gunner's lead when he blazed Sanchez's cut back wide in the 51st minute.

Nine minutes later, Ross Barkley fired wide Romelu Lukaku's knock down pass.

In the other fixture on the night, Bournemouth defeated champions Leicester City by a lone goal, with Super Eagles forward, Ahmed Musa playing a substitute role.

Musa replaced Albrighton in the 74th minute, but couldn't  salvage the situation for Leicester City.

Marc Pugh grabbed the only goal of the encounter in the 34th minute of the first half.

The win sees Eddie Howie's side move up to eight in the table with 21 points from 16 games.
