Iwobi Rated Below Average In Arsenal Defeat To Swansea

By James Agberebi:‎ Nigeria forward, Alex Iwobi, got a poor rating for his performance in Arsenal’s 3-1 loss to struggling Swansea in Tuesday’s Premier League game at the Liberty Stadium, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.

Iwobi was in Arsenal’s starting line-up but failed to make any meaningful impact in the course of the game.

He was eventually put out of his misery as he was replaced by Olivier Giroud in the 76th minute.

And following the defeat, popular English publication, The Mirror, did an assessment of every Arsenal player in action against Swansea, scoring each player out of 10.

And due to his unimpressive performance, Iwobi was rated four. Granit Xhaka and Alexandre Lacazette were also scored four points apiece.

Commenting on his poor display, The Mirror wrote:”Poor display. Lacks quality at times and you wonder if he really is an Arsenal player.”

Despite taking the lead through Nacho Monreal, Goals from Sam Clucas (brace) and Jordan Ayew, sealed the important win for Swansea who are now off the bottom in the league to 17th on 23 points.
