Nigeria forward Alex Iwobi has expressed his delight after returning to first team action for Arsenal in their 2-0 win against relegated Sunderland in Tuesday's Premier League game at the Emirates.
Iwobi was introduced in the 69th minute for Kieran Gibbs after last playing for Arsenal in a 2-2 draw against visiting Manchester City on April 2.
The game against Sunderland on Tuesday was Iwobi's 25th appearance this season, scoring three goals and rendering two assists.
Reacting to his return, Iwobi stated that he was happy with the comeback.
"Back Doing What I Love," he wrote on his twitter handle.
Arsenal are currently fifth in the league table and are in a three-way battle for a top-four finish with third place Manchester City and Liverpool who are fourth.
The Gunners will host Everton on the final day of the season on Sunday and must win and hope results in other games go their way.
