Jamiu Alimi Joins Sharks On Loan

Former Tavriya defender Jamiu Alimi has joined Sharks Football Club of Port Harcourt till the rest of the season, Complete Sports can report.

The former U-20 player becomes the second Tavriya player to return to the domestic league following the Sani Kaita’s move to Enyimba.

Alimi 21, told Complete Sports he is prepared to take his chance with the Gbenga Ogunbote led side.

“I’m happy with the move and I hope that it will re-launch my career back,” he said.

“My ex-teammate Kaita is at Enyimba and I will relish a meeting with him in the league,”
Sharks are currently fourth on the Nigerian football Premier League log with 30 points from 19 games and Alimi is expected to make his debut against Akwa United in Uyo in a fort night.
