Nigeria midfielder Joel Obi has been ruled out of action for up to 15 days after sustaining a thigh muscle injury during Torino's 3-1 win against AS Roma in a Serie A game at the weekend, reports Completesportsnigeria.com.
The former Inter Milan player was forced off in the 23rd minute of the encounter.
The midfielder has struggled with injuries for most of his career.
Last season, he was limited to only 10 appearances for Torino as he spent most of the time on the treatment table.
The 25-year-old has made five appearances for Torino in the current campaign but is yet to open his goal account for the season.
He has been capped 15 times by Nigeria.
