Wolves have made a strong start to life back in the Premier League but Jonny Castro Otto believes there is still more to come. After winning the Championship title last season, Wolves recruited heavily, with left wing-back Jonny one of six new arrivals at Molineux after he joined on a season-long loan from Atletico Madrid.
The 24-year-old has settled into English football quickly and netted his first goal for the club during last weekend’s 2-0 victory over Southampton.
That result extended Wolves’ unbeaten run to five matches in the Premier League and they are currently riding high in the top half of the standings, but Jonny believes they are still developing and can continue to grow over the course of the season.
“The team is doing very well, it is true that we’ve five games without losing, conceding very few goals,” the Spaniard told the Express & Star.
“I think that the team, even though it is doing good results, is growing.
“And the most important thing is that we’re a ‘group’ that is growing up and we hope to reach the highest.”
Wolves have named the same starting XI in each of their seven league games this term but Jonny knows it is a squad game and is convinced they have plenty of strength in depth.
“The team in an ascent line is improving and that is the important thing,” he added. “We have people that start on the bench who are playing good games, also people of the line-up. Then I think that the team is very well.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
