Juventus are reportedly keen on doing a deal to sign out-of-form Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches in January. Sanches was viewed as a huge talent when he broke into the first team at Benfica and was the recipient of the 2016 Golden Boy award for his performances for Portugal in their victorious Euro 2016 campaign.
He then earned a move to Bayern where he made 25 appearances in his debut season in all competitions but failed to register a single goal or assist and was sent out on loan to Swansea City.
His spell in South Wales was a torrid one, dogged by a lack of fitness and form and the 21-year-old is now back in Bavaria with Niko Kovac’s men, but not playing regularly.
Reports in Italy state that the Bianconeri are ready to take a gamble on the youngster with sporting director Fabio Paratici wanting to do a deal with Bayern Munich.
Sanches’ agent is also Jorge Mendes, who has developed a great relationship with Juventus over the years, most recently brokering the summer the transfer for Cristiano Ronaldo.
