Belgian First Division A side, KAA Gent have told Super Eagles forward,Moses Simon he is free to leave the club.
Moses who joined the club in January 2015 has a year left on his contract and had hoped to put himself up for sale during the FIFA World Cup in Russia but injury cut-short his plans.
According to Belgian top newspaper, Het Laatste Nieuws, KAA Gent had an agreement not stand in Moses’ way if he gets a club after the World Cup but the player returned to the club without fulfilling expectations and has now be forzen out of the first team.
The Nigerian has been told he risks sitting on the bench for a long spell as the club will give priority to their new signings.
To confirm this,Moses was not listed for action last weekend when Gent were beaten 3-2 by Standard Liege in the opening game of the new 2018/2019 season.
Moses’ Nigerian compatriots at the club,Anderson Esiti and new loan signing,Taiwo Awoniyi made second appearances in the game.
