Nigeria midfielder Sani Kaita propelled his team Saxan Ceadir Lunga to 2-0 win over Tiraspol on Friday evening and was named man of the match.
Saxan are second on the Moldovan league table with 16 points from nine games.
An elated Kaita, who gave assists for both goals, told AfricanFootball.com he was happy with the general performance of the team against one of the big teams in Moldova, Tiraspol.
“It wasn’t an easy game, but I am very happy that we won 2-0 against one of the best teams here in Moldova, Tiraspol,” he said.
“I had a super game too and was named man of the match, but the most important thing is that we won the game.
“Mohammed Aliyu played full game and played very well. He is improving game after game.”
