Zambianm legend Kalusha Bwalya has backed the Super Eagles to beat Iceland in today’s (Friday) crucial Group D at the 2018 FIFA World Cup, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The Super Eagles opened their campaign at the mundial with a 2-0 defeat against Croatia last Saturday at the Kaliningrad Stadium.
Gernot Rohr’s men will need to beat the Scandinavians who played a 1-1 draw against Argentina in their first game to boost their chances of making it to the knock out stages.
And ahead of the game billed for the Volgograd Arena, Bwalya has challenged the Super Eagles to give their all in the encounter.
“Best of luck #SuperEagles You can do this #AfricaUnited,” the former Zambia striker, who was in the team that lost to Nigeria in the 1994 African Cup of Nations final, wrote on Twitter.
The game will kick off at 4pm Nigerian time.
