Tottenham striker Harry Kane admits they will have to be at their best when they take on Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League. Spurs can take little from the fact they beat Dortmund twice in the Champions League last season as BVB are a completely different kettle of fish this time around.
Dortmund are nine points clear at the top of the Bundesliga and hope to still be there by the time the Champions League last-16 double-header takes place.
Tottenham are also going well and Kane is expecting a tightly-fought contest. “All the teams are tough and they all have their pros and cons,” Kane said. “We have played Dortmund a few times over the last few years so it will be an interesting game.
“They have been doing great this season and in the league so it will be a tough one. They have a great atmosphere at their ground as well so we look forward to it – it’s the Champions League. “We know it is going to be tough, we have to be ready for it.”
