"Sobowale has been cleared because El-Merriekh have paid," an official of the four-time league winners revealed to Completesportsnigeria.com.

Sobowale joined Kano Pillars two seasons ago from Shooting Stars of Ibadan.

Completesportsnigeria.com checks in the Sai Masu Gida side also revealed that striker Edmund Emmanuel who has scored six goals so far in the campaign has travelled to Norway for trials with an undisclosed club.

Similarly, CHAN Eagles left winger, Prince Aggreh, has also travelled to Ukraine for trials with an undisclosed club.

"These are parts of the problems we have here at Kano Pillars," laments the official who does not want to be named in print.

"We also have problems of injuries aside from players travelling out for trials.

"For instance, in our last home game, we had to force Shagari into the midfield despite the player having a tendor problem.

"Even though for me, he appeared as man of the match.

"We also have Bala Mohammed out with groin injury."

Kano Pillars are fourth in the Premier League table with 42 points with the official believing they can still finish amongst the continental zone.
