Former Super Eagles skipper Nwankwo Kanu has expressed sadness over the killing of Nigeria Football Federation's Head of Protocol, Ibrahim Abubakar, by armed robbers on Tuesday, Completesportsnigeria.comreports.
According to the NFF, Abubakar, was killed by armed robbers at his Abuja residence.
Reacting to the sad news, Kanu condemned the killing.
"Very bad and sad news that our good friend, the Nigeria Football Federation Chief Protocol was shot dead in his home. Ibrahim Abubakar R.I.P."
"You can witch hunt or try to put people down or bring the name they've worked for down or any other bad thing, but it's bad to take somebody's life," Kanu wrote on his Twitter handle.
