Nigerian junior international, Olanrewaju Kayode will be leading Maccabi Netanya’s attacking line as they embark on the road trip against Hapoel Tel Aviv today in an Isreali Ligat Ha’al tie.
With the regular season over after 26 round of matches involving the 14 teams that made up the elite Isreali league division, Kayode’s club is currently involved in the Relegation Round series after failing to be amongst the top-6 teams that is also currently playing in the Championship Round. Kayode remains his side’s top scorer currently with 11 goals and he will be banked upon to deliver the goals against hosts Hapoel TeL Aviv.
Also today in the Relegation Round fixtures, the duo of Juwon Oshaniwa and Yaro Bello will also be in action for Ashdod when they travel to take on Bnei Sakhnin. Ashdod are searching for their first win in recent times having lost 3 of their last 7 games and are currently battling to avoid the drop.
Meanwhile, Super Eagles midfielder, Nosa Igiebor is aiming for the Isreali league title with Maccabi Tel Aviv who are currently leading the Championship Round table with 65 points after 31 games. Maccabi Tel Aviv will be going on the road trip against Maccabi Haifa in a delayed kick-off on Monday.
