Keshi Considers Echiejile For Brazil

–Despite the Defender’s last minute injury

Super Eagles handler, Stephen Keshi is considering taking injured left-back Elderson Echiejile to Brazil, despite being out of the tournament due to last minute injury.

This was revealed to Complete Sports by a very reliable source who is with the team in the United States of America as the team departs for Brazil today for the Mundial billed to kick off on June 12.

“Bearing last minute changes, Coach Stephen Keshi is considering taking Elderson Echiejile along with the team to Brazil because he is thinking that it would be unfair for the team to separate him just like that,” says the source.

“There was no arrangement made so far for him to return to Nigeria or to his base in Europe, so he should be accompanying the team to Brazil.”

It would be recalled that Echiejile was ruled out of the squad for the World Cup following an injury he sustained in the warm-up match against Greece which ended 0-0 and had been replaced by Ejike Uzoenyi.

Meanwhile, the team will depart United States for Brazil today.
