Keshi Gets NFF Technical Committee Favour On Eagles Job

By Richard Jideaka, Abuja:

Stephen Keshi would be announced as the head coach of the Super Eagles in a matter of days, Complete Sports can report.

Indication to this effect emerged yesterday after the technical and development sub-committee of the Nigeria Football Federation met in Abuja to deliberate on Keshi re-engagement and other programmes of the federation.

Chairman of the committee, Felix Anyansi told the media after the meeting that they have recommended to the board of the NFF for approval or otherwise stressing that they have completed their assignment on the Super Eagles.

He said that there is nothing wrong in re engaging Keshi, adding that the Big Boss is qualified to lead the Super Eagles again.

“Keshi has done well and there is nothing wrong in recommending him to lead the Super Eagles again. We have done our own bit and it is now left for the federation’s executive committee to decide his being re-engaged,” says Anyansi.

“All issues concerning who would be the Super Eagles coach will soon be laid to rest and Nigerians will be happy with what we have done and recommended.

“We also discussed the qualifications of the U-17, U-20 and other national teams as well as the issue of Keshi’s contract. All these were discussed and we have made our recommendations for the board to decide” he stated

1- No local coach can kiss it better than KESHI at the moment, 2- No real foreign coach will be willing to come down and work in this NIGERIA WAY OF SET UPS 3- Unless you want to just go out there and pick up a EUROPEAN COACH just in the name of having a FOREIGN COACH. I knew many people will be mad at this but i dont think any coach will suceed in this situation while a team is trying qualifying for a tournament and there is war going on at the federation almost on a daily basis, No Money today,Tomorow a court case, then out of court, the next day someone else is going back to court to challenge ..please whats all this..?..this is just a football association for God sake..

  • what is going on here? can Nigerian NFF respect the national fans on this issue for once, because almost all 90% of Nigerians doesn’t want kechi to be our national team coach, while the NFF is still messing aroung nd toying with the minds of Nigerians
kechi and its Nff bosses are clueless people in football matters

Let’s wait and see what will happen in few days to come. New is the year and if the current NFF refused to do things properly, Keshi will fail the Nation again. We don’t have any time to waste. Give us a new local coach to start from the scratch. God bless Nigeria!
