Out-of-contract Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi says he will not work under a foreign coach or technical adviser as contained in the new contract offered him by the Nigeria Football Federation while denying some of the reports surrounding the protracted contract talks.
The big boss also revealed in an interview on Brila FM monitored in Lagos on Tuesday that the new contract did not include the opportunity for a pay rise.
‘My lawyer went through the contract and there were a lot of things in it I don’t like. I spoke with the President (of the NFF,Amaju Pinnick) before I left and told him I wasn’t comfortable with some of the provisions of the contract. There was no clause for a pay rise, there was a suggestion of bringing in a foreign coach but I find this difficult to understand. If you want a coach show him you have total trust in his abilities and these are areas I want to discuss with the NFF,”said Keshi who disclosed he will return from his short holiday in the USA to discus details of the contract with the NFF.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com
