“We showed good character today(after the game early Sunday Nigerian time). I liked what I saw from my players,” Keshi smiled.

“The work ethic was very good. And I’m very happy with the result, especially because Nigeria had not won a World Cup game since ‘France 98. I’m particularly happy about that.”

Speaking on the expectation of Nigerians who felt that qualification to the Round of 16 will be a tall dream.

Keshi added: “I never thought at any point that we would not qualify for the second round. We were criticized for not beating Iran, but now everybody knows that Iran are a tough team following their performance against Argenitna.

“Bosnia were tough but we had a job to do and we did it. ”

On the impressive individual performance of Babatunde Michael, Keshi said: “Michael Babatunde may have surprised a lot of Nigerians but he did not surprise me. I have faith in all my players because they’re not just here to eat Brazilian food or watch the sights,” Keshi added.

  • PLEASE KESHI BEFORE YOU START FOOLING AGAIN, STOP USING AMMED MUSA TO START OUR GAME PLEASE. AND MUSA FOR UNDERSTAND THAT FIRST TEAM SHIRT IS PERFORMANCE NOT BRIBE.

    • Amed Musa is fast paced player, and he did great, He won a lot of ball from the Bosnians, I am only not happy that Victor Moses was left on the bench through-out the game. We need his enterprising spirit in the game. Keshi should stop critizing his players but should complement and encourage them. Soccer is a mental and psychological game, you need lots of motivations. Go Eagles

I am happy for you Coach, we give GOD the praise. I like your courage for using the players you believe in and dropping big names. You played only two natural midfielders yesterday in an attempt to have a creative spark in the middle. Though the gamble paid off, the team paid dearly in the middle, it exposed your defense. Must MUSA start matches?, his ball sense and final ball is terrible. He is a weak link in your attack. He is not good enough to start matches. The top striker is not getting enough support from the middle. May the good LORD continue to be with team, AMEN.

Keshi should keep his words to himself, one good game doesn’t make Babatunde M. a great player. I still believe Keshi still lacks the tactical ability to take the team to the next level. His substitutions are not spot on in any way.

You don’t even have a comma in” Keshi name” Keshi is a world class tactician ,and he selection of Musa is tactical indeed.

  • I am happy that we won, but I am not yet convinced that Eagles has the organization and systematic pattern of a world class team. Keshi has a mass of talents but has not glued the team to do extraordinary thing. I am disappointed that a left Victor Moses on the bench, a star playmaker. Can Keshi please give Uzoenyi some respectable play time. Over all, I think, we have the best players in the world, they need to be counselled to take their time to do the right things always, chance and opportunity only come rarely in the world cup, it must be business, or you loose in the trade. Go Eagles.
