Completesports can authoritatively report that former Super Eagles manager Stephen Keshi may have reconsider his plans to drag chieftains of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).
In a telephone chat with Complete Sports on Monday, the former Hawks of Togo gaffer maintained that he had chosen to let the sleeping dog lie rather than see both parties dry their dirty linen in the public after he was fired barely two into his new contract.
Although the Big Boss did not confirm if he had earlier submitted an appeal to CAS, but the former Mali coach was angered when asked on his next step with CAS. “Why are you are guys talking about CAS, begins Keshi.
I don’t know why everybody keeps talking about this CAS issue, who is talking about CAS now?
Please you guys should just leave me alone so that I can rest,” he said
Pundits and sports technocrats had envisaged a showdown between Keshi and NFF after the former was relieved of his job on the ground that he (Keshi) submitted application to Ivorien Football Federation (FIF) indicating his interest to tinker The Elephant.
Although, Keshi denied the claim but that was not enough to convince the FA eggheads who are hell-bent on showing him the door for divided loyalty coupled with the poor relationship that existed between both parties.
