–Big boss confirms today’s meeting with Football Federation officials
By Johnny Edward:
Coach Stephen Keshi has revealed to Complete Sports that he will meet with the top echelons of Nigeria Football Federation today at the Glass House in Abuja to finalize his new contract.
But he was not forthcoming if he will agree to the terms of the deal or not.
“I will meet with the NFF on Wednesday and until I get there I can’t tell you if I will agree or not,” he began in a brief chat.
“My lawyers and agent will speak on my behalf regarding that.”
“I’m a professional and I am ready to work if the terms and conditions are conducive for me and my staff,” he said.
According to the NFF, Keshi will get a new two year deal this week with a monthly salary of N5 million besides a comfortable accommodation and other benefits.
Recall that the former Togo and Mali boss equaled Nigeria’s best ever finish of a second round berth at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil after he had won the AFCON title the previous year.
