–Eagles boss reveals Chelsea star was not injured
From Richard Jideaka, Brazil:
Victor Moses who was on the bench in the 1-0 win over Bosnia last Saturday may return in the starting line-up in the crucial game against Argentina on Wednesday in Porto Alegri
Although Moses claimed in a tweet that he sat through the match because of a slight injury he sustained in training, it has been revealed that he was left out because he did not play to instruction in the game with Iran.
When Complete Sports asked coach Stephen Keshi if Moses’ injury had healed and if he would be available for Argentina, the Big Boss responded: “I am not aware that Moses has any injury problem, he may play against Argentina.”
The Super Eagles gaffer said he picked players who could carry out the game plan in detail, adding that Moses was left out because he did not fit into his game plan against Bosnia last Saturday.
“Moses was not coming back to support the defence in the match with Iran and I needed fighters who would disturb the fluidity of the Bosnians. It was no punitive measure against Moses but the game plan,” Keshi said.
“He is doing well now and doing what we want him to do in training and I can only tell you that he may start if he continues to work hard.”
