In the reversal in the beginning of the current season, Liverpool defeated Chelsea 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.

"I can say nothing about Chelsea’s position, we have to keep these points here," Klopp said in Monday's pre-match press conference.

"If they lose here and win the rest, they are probably the champions. They are in a good moment, but that means something, but not everything. We lost a few games we should have won, a lot of people think it could be different. Who wants to help is welcome."

Currently on fourth spot in the league table, Klopp stated that Liverpool have what it takes to finish in the top four and qualify for the UEFA Champions League.

"Let’s go to the end of the season, we could qualify for the Champions League. Should we then stay there and say “Yes, Is it allowed to celebrate a position like this when Chelsea are on an outstanding run?” Yes, I think it should be allowed to celebrate this. We should fight for it.

"I think we should not try and stop now and finally judge players and talk about all the mistakes we made. We made that many mistakes that we are still fourth in the league. That’s it. There are worse things in the world."

On the availability of Senegal's Sadio Mane against Chelsea, Klopp said: "He’s a quality player. It’s easier if we have him in the team. It’s not that he can decide games by himself. It’s a strange situation in the Senegal game against Cameroon.

"I wish he hadn’t missed the penalty but he did and now he’s coming back. He’s kind of an option for Chelsea. We have to see. At least for the Hull game, that’s good for us, we have a very good player back for selection, it’s only good news. Nothing else.

"We came through December and January without Coutinho. I don’t want to think too much about the last few games. It’s enough work to do to think about the next few games. We have to decide whether we can involve him tomorrow or not."
