Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits Leicester City will pose a different threat to his side in Saturday’s English Premier clash despite missing Jamie Vardy due to suspension.
Vardy is will miss Saturday’s encounter due to suspension.
Klopp whose side is currently on a three game winning streak adds that his starting squad is not a ‘closed book.’
“You can see Claude (Puel’s) work is now paying off at Leicester. They have changed the style a bit. It is good football they are playing and are full of confidence especially after the last result (v Southampton),” Klopp revealed during his pre-match conference on Thursday.
“Jamie causes each team’s problem with his style of play. That makes him different to nearly all other strikers in EPL. Him not playing will change Leicester style of play slightly but they have good strikers.”
“I am fine with what I’ve seen so far but Leicester will be different. The midfield is really strong. Looks good, defensively line played together for a while. Chilwell massive player for them. Great future, looks big talent, is a good player.”
The German also revealed that his players are in good shape and that he is happy with his squad.
“The players are in a much better situation now than three weeks ago. We need a good result tomorrow and in all the other games. For that, we need all the players. I’m looking forward to it.”
“Today it is good but it is needs to stay good. August was always going to be different. Starting three times in a row with same line-up, that won’t happen too many times this season. We didn’t strengthen for August, but for all the other months.”
Klopp also ruled out a deadline day exit for Simon Mignolet.
“He’s on pretty good pay and he will not leave today, of course not. In general, discussing your individual problems in public doesn’t make too much sense, it’s better you speak to each other. But it was still okay. He’s a human being.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
