Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp, expects a tough encounter when the Reds host West Brom on Saturday in the English Premier League.
Klopp side’s winning run was halted following their 0-0 draw against fiercest rivals Manchester United at Anfield on Monday.
Looking ahead to the weekend clash against the Baggies, Klopp pointed out that Live will have to be patient in order to come out victorious.
“When you really want to be a competitior you need to be angry. That’s very important. That’s how it is,” Klopp said in his press conference on Thursday.
“West Brom is a very experienced team with a very experienced manager.
“They don’t want to come here and make it easy for us. I respect that.
“We need to be angry but at the same time patient.
“There is not only one way to be successful. We cannot choose their way and they cannot choose our way.”
Klopp revealed that Georgio Wijnaldum is on his way to recovery from his injury setback while stating that there are no other injury worries in his side.
“There is nothing to moan about. They have had a few kicks but nobody is ruled out. Gini [Wijnaldum] is on the way back so if nothing happens today or tomorrow we have quite a big squad.”
The former Dortmund coach stated that his focus is to always win irrespective of the opponent or venue.
He added: “We don’t care about the name of the team, or where we play them. Home or away, we have to win, we have to win, we have to win.
“Always you have to fight for it. We don’t make a difference between teams.”
And on the EPL in comparision to other major European leagues, Klopp said: “What’s clear is that the difference between the Premier League and other leagues is that so big individual quality is in all these teams.
“There are a lot of difficult hurdles to jump over to be successful.
“I respect them all. Would I celebrate a draw? It depends on the game. Everything is possible.”Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
