Argentina have been dealt a serious injury blow after West Ham midfielder Manuel Lanzini sustained a knee injury during the team’s training on Friday morning.

Lanzini’s injury was confirmed on Argentina’s men’s verified Twitter handle, Seleccion Argentina.

According to the report, Lanzini ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament on his right knee.

He made 27 appearances for West Ham in the Premier League last season, scoring five goals.
