Terence Kongolo says he expects Huddersfield to fight until the final game of the season in the battle to stay in the top flight.
The Terriers’ record signing has had a positive impact upon the team since his return from a hamstring injury, helping them achieve their first win of the season against Fulham before another positive showing in last weekend’s 1-1 draw with West Ham.
Since moving to the John Smith’s Stadium from Monaco last summer, the 24-year-old has been one of the team’s most consistent performers and has developed into a defensive leader for David Wagner’s men.
Kongolo has now called on the rest of the team to match his fighting spirit for the remainder of the season, admitting they can not afford not to scrap in every fixture if they are to successfully avoided relegation again.
“We fight as a team, the spirit is good and we always stay positive,” said Kongolo told the Huddersfield Examiner. “Whether we lose or we don’t get three points we stay as a group, we fight every week and we stay together. “We will never give up to the last game of the season. We have a lot of confidence together.”Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
