Bayern Munich boss Niko Kovac admits it does not get much harder than Liverpool but believes his side can progress in Europe.
The Bavarians will face Liverpool over two legs in the Champions League last 16, and Kovac is well aware of what awaits his side in what he predicts will be two exciting games.
Liverpool are flying domestically and made the Champions League final last season. “We can all look forward to such a great game.

It’s the toughest draw we could’ve been given. Liverpool got to the final last year, they’re top of the Premier League and one of the favourites for the Champions League,” the Croatian told the club’s website.
However, Kovac is also upbeat regards his side’s chances of advancing to the quarter-finals at the expense of the Reds, who have struggled on the road in Europe this campaign.
“We’re Bayern Munich, though, and I’m sure Liverpool know they’ve got to come here to Munich for the second leg,” he added. “The chances are 50-50. We’ll see what happens. I’m very confident we’ll get through.”Copyright © 2020 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
