Croatia international Andrej Kramaric has signed a new contract with Hoffenheim until the summer of 2022. Kramaric, who was part of his country’s squad that finished runners-up at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, initially joined Hoffenheim on loan from Leicester City in January 2016 before the move was made permanent that summer.
The 27-year-old scored 15 goals from 34 Bundesliga appearances in the 2016/17 campaign before netting 13 times from 34 league matches last season.
Die Kraichgauer have now rewarded Kramaric with a new four-year deal and the forward has expressed his delight at extending his stay at the Wirsol Rhein-Neckar-Arena.
“This decision is also an expression of my well-being,” Kramaric was quoted as saying by Bundesliga.com. “This club has taken an almost breath-taking development over the last two-and-a-half years that I’ve been here.
“It’s a great match and I feel very well. I’m highly valued from all sides, and I’d like to continue to work with it – to drive this development forward.”
