George Kruis has been ruled out of England’s remaining autumn Tests against Japan and Australia due to a calf injury. The lock picked up the injury in Saturday’s agonising 16-15 defeat to New Zealand and had to be replaced by Charlie Ewels in the second half at Twickenham.
It’s now been confirmed the 28-year-old will not be fit for the Red Rose’s final two autumn internationals, on Saturday against Japan and then against the Wallabies on November 24.
Ewels appears to be the go-to man to replace Kruis, although Eddie Jones also has the likes of Maro Itoje, Elliott Stooke and Courtney Lawes as locks to choose from in the 30-man squad.
England will hope to bounce back from the narrow defeat to the All Blacks when they host Japan at Twickenham, who themselves lost heavily – 69-31 – against the Kiwis earlier this month.Fastest Paying Betting Site in Nigeria: Grab your 140% First Time Deposit Bonus Now — www.Sportybet.Com Copyright © 2021 Completesports.com All rights reserved.
