Ladipo: This Is a Sad Moment

Ladipo: This Is a Sad Moment

–Nigeria supporters’ club boss advises on how to build a new team

President of Nigeria football supporters club, Dr Rafiu Ladipo has stated that the Super Eagles elimination from next year’s Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea is a sad moment for football in the country.
Reacting after the match, Ladipo blamed the players for the ouster.

“Sad moment for Nigeria, we had the opportunity in the first half. Defence messed up; the players have got to blame themselves. Nigeria have to start all over and focus on the league to start preparing for next two years.

“And that has to start now because what we have just seen of the team is not what anybody dreamt of or expected from Nigerian team but with the way things are now, we need to go back and build a new team.

He stated further: “Keshi is an employee of the Nigeria Football Federation; they need to sit down and see how they canhelp him by sending him to coaching courses. Nobody is happy with the Eagles.”

A win by any goal margin would have secured automatic qualification but they could only force South Africa to a 2-2 draw with Hull City player Sone Aluko grabbing both goals for Nigeria.

  • Tongue and cheek… Mr Ladipo shooting from the hips… Is Keshi bossing you too. The truth must be told, We can not rebuild any team with Keshi in the mix. Keshi needs to go… Period…

  • We have been in this rebuilding mode with Keshi for the past 3 years and still we have nothing to show for our efforts. Instead Keshi was busy selling wrist watches and selling our players. The current technical crew is corrupt and If we have to rebuild which is the right thing to do, Keshi and his team must make way for a new team with fresh idea. This Keshi is a business man cum politician and you can not mix sports with politics. One must give way…

@Olu, oku ohun. We already knew that Oga Keshi is a real business man. For instance, he kicked out Mba, Ogu for Reuben and his Eagles team. Because, this is not our lovely Eagles we used to know. To clear the air, we don’t need his service anymore and if NFF try to hiring a Foreign coach, im shaking my head for them, Eagles will never bounce back because white coach know nothing about our players both home and abroad. For this reason,
we have materials that we can use but those Oga at the top won’t allow the right set of people to step in. Meanwhile, I’m going for Manu Garba as a new Eagles coach while Amunike or Olishe could be his assistant. God bless Nigeria!
